In our German Regular lesson, we have introduced the topic “Friendship between animals” with the book: “ Flieg kleiner Vogel”. In the story, a little bird is afraid of flying. The other birds do not help this little bird to overcome his fear. Then later when another grey Bird, a Kiwi needs help, this little bird with the help of other animals who support him saves the Kiwi. The little bird was very brave in organizing help for the Kiwi. In the end with the same courage, he finds a way to overcome his fear and can fly.
We have regular P.E. sessions for our Kindergarten as well as Preschool children. They love going to the gym and exercising. They also get to try out some fun games as well. We are sure you have some excited little ones ready to go to school just because they have P.E. that day.
Ms. Thiele and Ms. Wilkie conduct an afterschool Art & Craft activity. The little ones truly enjoy being part of that activity. We have not shared many pictures of the same before. But this month, their creations were so lovely and cute that we decided to bring them to you. They learned to draw penguins. Please check out the pictures to see how beautiful the little creations are. Thank you Ms. Thiele and Ms. Wilkie for giving the students this wonderful opportunity.
Art Work
The Kindergarten and preschool students love their Art sessions. We are sure you are all surprised to see the creations our little artists bring home at the end of the week/month. This week when one group was busy making rockets the other was painting decorations. We also saw some of them experiment with colors and shades. They truly enjoy these sessions.
Library
Our little Preschool friends were introduced to the Library this month. You must have noticed the storybooks that came home. Yes, your little one personally selected those books. Hope you enjoy reading the book with them. Our librarian Ms. Somers gave our friends a book-reading session in the Library which all of them enjoyed. Happy Reading little buddies.
Fasching!
To end the month on a fun note, we had our annual Fasching celebrations on the 21st. The little ones were so excited from the beginning of the month. We are sure you must have answered the same question ‘Is it Fasching?’ plenty of times. The little ones looked gorgeous. We had many princesses, superheroes, and pikachoos as well. The party was so much fun with games in the Red Room, Snacks in the Orange Room, and a Dance party in the Green Room. The party ended with a Puppet Show in the Red room. Thank you Parent network for organizing such a wonderful event for our little ones.
