Signing up for our activities is super easy!
Here's how it works:
- Check out below the ISF Sports Academy activities that are offered each day.
- Make sure your child is eligible to join based on their grade, age, and timetable availability. (See grade + age chart below).
- Review the registration information page to note the sports you want select. Click on school specific Form in the announcement message to open the registration form.
You will be able to register for both the ISF Sports Academy training & SLO® activities on the registration form. - Print out the registration form submission confirmation. This will appear once you have submitted the registration form.
- Once we have received all requests, we will confirm to you which activities your child is signed up for. Please note that spaces per activity are limited. We will try to ensure that students can take part in as many activities as possible.
Note:
- Students in Bullpups Bulldogs, Fit Bulldogs and Junior Bulldogs will be given spaces in a sport based on those who register first.
- All students in U14 Bulldogs and Varsity Bulldogs will be invited to join Trial Week in the sports for which they have registered. Should the number of students interested in a sport exceed the number of spaces available, spaces will be allocated based on attendance during Trial Week and athletic ability, especially for the sports with a GISST competition.
- The full activity list (Sports Academy & SLO®) will be posted next week.
- In Primary School, all Sports Academy & SLO® activities are optional.

GISST
(German International Schools Sports Tournament)
The ISF Sports Academy will continue to be a member of GISST, an organization that facilitates friendly yet competitive tournaments among small- to medium-sized international schools in Germany.
The GISST hosts tournaments for the following sports disciplines: Cross Country, Football, Volleyball, Badminton, Swimming, Table Tennis, Basketball, and Tennis. Every annual sports tournament takes place over a two- to three-day period in one of the member schools.
U14 Bulldogs and Varsity Bulldogs are able to attend the respective GISST tournaments, should they be selected and be academically eligible.
Students enrolled in sports at the ISF Sports Academy will have the option to go to the corresponding competition. In the past, families from the host school would welcome the players from the various schools in their homes. From this year onward, all players will find accommodation in hotels or hostels.
Each competition incurs costs for transportation, accommodation, meals, competition fees, etc. Sports Academy wants as many students as possible to experience the chance to compete at GISST. Therefore, the school has decided to subsidize much of the GISST competition cost and charge all GISST participants a flat fee of 120 Euro per student, per GISST event, that covers all costs - travel, accommodations, meals.
Information and details for each tournament will be provided by the ISF Sports Academy prior to each event.
Uniforms
The ISF Sports Academy has designed custom-made uniforms and accessories for our Bulldogs.
We have backpacks, t-shirts, tracksuits, jerseys, swim caps, and towels. You can see the prices listed below.
All Fit Bulldogs, Junior Bulldogs, U14 Bulldogs, and Varsity Bulldogs are required to purchase the ISF Sports Academy t-shirt and backpack. Those enrolled in swimming will also be required to purchase the cap and towel.
The U14 Bulldogs and Varsity Bulldogs who attend the GISST competition are also required to purchase the tracksuit and the jersey.
The same uniform is used for all GISST sports except basketball that has its own jersey. The price for both is the same, 30 Euro each. If you are attending more than one competition and basketball is one of them, you are required to purchase both uniforms, but they will be charged with a 25% discount.
Student helpers and parents who are part of the ISF Sports Academy Champion Club are also eligible to purchase t-shirts!

Frequently Asked Questions
Once the students are enrolled in the respective sports and activities, each family will be sent an invoice via bank transfer. The invoice will include the cost of each sport the student has registered for and the cost of the uniform.
The invoice must be paid within the first two weeks of each term. If the invoice is not paid within the first two weeks, the student will not be permitted to participate in the training sessions. This may result in the student losing their spot on the team or in the activity.
- The same jerseys are used for volleyball and soccer. Therefore, any student who plays both sports will only be required to purchase one jersey.
- Basketball has its own jersey.
- A different uniform is used for all other GISST sports (badminton, tennis, table tennis, cross country, and track & field).
In the event that a student participates in multiple competitions in which he/she has to wear different uniforms, the most expensive uniform will be charged, along with a 50% discount on the rest of the uniforms.
No, it is not mandatory for students enrolled in a GISST competition sport to compete in the tournament. However, we encourage all eligible players attend the competition. It is a wonderful opportunity to travel, meet students from other international schools, and have fun!
Each competition incurs costs for transportation, accommodation, meals, competition fees, etc. The athlete will bear the cost of the hotel, meals, and travel. The cost will vary depending on location of the competition and availability of travel/accommodations.
Information and details for each tournament will be provided by the ISF Sports Academy prior to each event.
What will coaches do in case of bad weather?
Students will either practice their sport in an area protected from bad weather or practice a different sport in an indoor area.
