Cookie Decoration!
Our adorable Kindergarten and Preschool students transformed into mini master chefs today, showing off their incredible creativity with cookie art! The fun was endless and their artistic skills were top-notch. Great job to our little culinary stars!
German Time!
The kindergartners have a lot of fun during their German time. They learn a lot and at the same time get to do a lot of Art. This month the little creators made some beautiful kites. They are so beautiful and colorful that we all certainly love them. The teachers have so many awesome teaching techniques that the kids learn so many new things while they are enjoying their Art time.
Lantern Festival!!
The Lantern Festival is a very important celebration in all Kindergartens around Germany on the account of St. Martin’s Day. The children take their lanterns out in a procession with their friends. It is a much-awaited event at ISF as well. At ISF too little ones prepare their own Lantern. We would like to thank the KG/PS parents for sending in the lantern stick as requested by our teachers. The little ones were so excited to prepare their lantern with colorful paper etc. Please look out for the wonderful creations that will be brought home. We would also like to thank the great number of parents who joined this event singing traditional German lantern songs and sharing the “Weckmann” with their children. We are also very proud of our German Regular children who put a great effort into showing the play - “ Ein armer Mann”.
Watercolors!!
The little ones love being creative so when their teacher gives them a free hand to draw what comes into their mind, we have some awesome creations on paper. It is more exciting if they are doing so with watercolors. There was some splash of colors, some beautiful looking leaves, houses, and flowers. We must say that we have an awesome bunch of creative minds.
Turkish National Day!!
ISF celebrated the Turkish National Day. It was their 100th anniversary. Our little ones had fun being part of the event. They got to try their hands on marble painting. In addition, they got to know more about Turkey. It was overall a wonderful experience for one and all.
Phonics!
Phonics is a major part of the Kindergarten and preschool curriculum. This week one group of preschoolers worked on learning sounds and matching words with pictures. One or two little buddies of the group got to do the exercise on the whiteboard while the rest did them on their worksheets.
