We had a month of celebrations and festivities at Kindergarten/ Preschool. Please see below the glimpse of November in KG-PS.
Happy Halloween!!
The Halloween party at KG/PS was a huge success. We saw some wonderful costumes. We had some Superheroes, some witches, some fairies and princesses. Each of the extra rooms were set for activities and the students visited each of the activity rooms with their homeroom teachers. There was dance, music, and some fun activities. And of course the little ones got a bag of candies too. After all Halloween brings in lot of fun as well as candies. And to add cherry to the cake, our little preschooler Kiril won the Halloween Pumpkin Contest. Way to go Kiril. We thank the Parent network for all their help and support in organizing the wonderful event.
Happy Diwali!!
It has been celebrations at ISF this month. Halloween was a great success and was soon followed by another much awaited event ie. Diwali. The Indian community decorated the school with beautiful Rangoli and colorful decorations. Our KG/PS are was also decorated for the evet and some of our little ones came all dressed up for the celebrations.
Lantern Festival!!
Then it was time for the traditional St. Martin’s festival or Lanternfest as we would like to . You all must have gone hunting for the lantern stick during the previous weeks. But that was not all. The little ones decorated their lanterns so beautifully. We are sure they all would have been proud to show off their creations when they were brought home later. The little ones got to sing the song Laterne Laterne, the famous song and walk along the school hallways to the Gym. In the gym they sang other songs and shared the famous Gingerbread man with their friends.

Thanksgiving celevrations also took place at ISF. The students and teachers sent tiny thank you notes which then became a part of the beautiful garland that was hung in the foyer area. Our little friends in the KG/PS celebrated the occasion in their own way by making paper turkey. Please check out the pictures to see them hard at work.
Study Time!!
Along with the celebrations at ISF, the little ones were busy with their regular studies too. We had the Kindergarteners learn all about the shape ‘Triangle’. The little ones were allowed to form the shape along with their friends and later on could make the shape with their fingers. On the other hand, the preschoolers learned to make group of 8 by counting. They did it with their building blocks. The art and craft session saw them create beautiful birds. And they had a lovely session of Social and emotional learning. Please check out the pictures to see the fun the kids have while they learn so many new things at school each day.
Winter Concert!!
Winter is here!! Along with the season comes our most awaited event of the year, the Winter concert. Students and teachers alike are very excited, as it is the first concert of the academic year. We bring a quick peek at the behind the scene activities. Our students are working hard preparing for the event and we are sure they have brought back notes from the teachers telling you what they are supposed to wear. We are sure you all are eagerly waiting for the big day because we sure are.
