Dear ISF Community,
We hope you all had a nice Fasching season and had a chance to enjoy the local festivities. I’m not sure any event in the Rhein-Main area could have been more exciting than ISF’s own Fasching festivities, which were held on Friday, February 28, 2025. There were colorful costumes and magic was in the air! Literally, magic as performed by Stefan Rautenberg. A big “Thank you” goes to the ISF Parent Network for sponsoring and organizing the captivatingperformance.
This month marked a historic milestone for the ISF Sports Academy as we hosted our very first Dance Recital! The stage came alive with energy, passion, and incredible talent as 100 students across eight diverse dance groups showcased their skills. From the rhythmic beats of Irish dance to the high-energy moves of street dance, the elegance of ballet, the precision of cheerleading, the vibrant flair of K-pop, the grace of gymnastics, and the dynamic acro-cheer routines, the recital was a true celebration of movement, creativity, and teamwork.
This unforgettable event was a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students, coaches, and parents. Each performance reflected countless hours of practice, perseverance, and passion, leaving the audience in awe.
As we celebrate the success of our first recital, we’re already looking ahead with excitement. This event was just the beginning, and we can’t wait to see how our dance programs continue to grow and evolve. Next year promises to be even bigger and better, with more opportunities for our students to shine!
As ISF’s 30th anniversary approaches, the excitement across our school community has been incredible. The SLO organized a school-wide logo voting event to celebrate this milestone, inviting everyone—from Kindergarten to Grade 12 students, teachers, and staff—to choose the official anniversary logo.
The voting was a fun new experience that brought everyone together. Seeing the older students converse with the younger ones about which logo looked better created a stronger sense of community at ISF. All the students and staff participating brought awareness to why it is important to cast your ballot. Counting the votes themselves was not as tedious as it sounds, as we enjoyed the different opinions of our fellow students and learned a lot about how traditional voting works. We are looking forward to the winning logo being displayed in the coming celebrations.
A big thank you to everyone who voted. Your choice is our choice,

The IB Art Exhibition opened on February 18, showcasing the incredible work of five Grade 12 high-level art students. This exhibition, a key part of their IB Art program, represents a year of dedication—developing themes, creating at least eight pieces, and planning their presentation.
We are incredibly proud of our IB Art students for their outstanding achievements. Their hard work, passion, and perseverance have truly paid off. This exhibition is not just a celebration of their art but also a celebration of their growth as individuals and artists.
A special thank you to Mr. Richard, their dedicated art teacher, for his guidance, support, and encouragement throughout this journey. His expertise and mentorship have been invaluable in helping our students reach their full potential.
Visit the exhibition on campus to experience their talent firsthand. Well done to all involved!
We’re excited to share that our first Well-Being Workshop for teachers and staff took place during the recent Staff Training Day, in collaboration with the Let’s Be Real organization. This workshop marked an important step in addressing the challenges schools face in supporting the mental health and well-being of their communities.
The session focused on equipping administrative and support staff with the tools to create a safe, supportive, and resilient environment where everyone can thrive. Through interactive discussions and activities, participants explored ways to foster mental health awareness, build stronger teams, and promote well-being across the school.
This is just the beginning! In March, we’ll be hosting follow-up sessions for students and parents to further strengthen our collective efforts in promoting mental health awareness and well-being.
Our school celebrated a special milestone—the 100th day of school on Friday, February 7! It was a day filled with creativity, imagination, and fun as students reflected on how far they’ve come and looked ahead to the future. One of the highlights was a special board where students shared their thoughts on what the world might be like in 100 years. Many imagined a future full of nature, kindness, and people working together to make the world a better place. Their ideas showed hope and positivity for what’s to come!
Our Kindergarten students got creative with art projects inspired by their visions of the day, and many wore festive “100 Days of School” crowns to mark the occasion. It was a fantastic day of learning, celebrating, and dreaming big! As we move forward through the rest of the school year, the 100th day will remind us how much we’ve already accomplished and how much more there is to learn and explore. Here’s to the next 100 days of growth, discovery, and fun!

The Academics Department carried out a chess competition. The first round was a qualifying round where our young participants competed against each other to prove their chess prowess. Following the qualifying round, the next three rounds were held throughout the following week. There were some bumps in the road during the rounds, like absences and disqualifications, but we finally crowned our winner: Dhanvin (G8)! With our runner-ups Tejashavi (G10) and Lloyd (G9). Overall, it was a fun event that both the prefects and the participants enjoyed.

In Primary School, students are busy building reading and song-learning skills while starting to prepare for the summer concert. They have briefly worked on Dona Nobis Pacem, a 3-part canon, while using more of their time learning a 2-part song called Man Its Cold Outside. Singing, playing instruments, and layering different skills are all a regular part of class. Various options for the summer concert were examined, leading classes to make decisions considering program order and student input as guidelines. Students may start singing them or using the playlist as a way to take a break from other activities.
Middle school and High School have been busy in various ways. Grades 5-7 choir have been developing their singing range and strength with various exercises. They have been examining vocal health and how this applies to the next concert. Choirs grades 8 and 9 have been working on music theory, music history, and music listening. Strings grades 5-7 have been developing their skills and selecting music for the next concert. Grades 8 and 9 worked on a composition project for their term 2 final, and many far exceeded expectations. The music production classes have been making presentations based on the songs that they created earlier in the term.
The Badminton Staff Vs Students was an exhilarating competition where staff members and students got to showcase their skills in the difficult sport. 30 plus students came to cheer, while each player gave it their all and tried to come out on top. In the end, after an intense competition, the students won, and were given the Staff Vs Students Trophy as their reward. At the end the of the day, it was a fun experience for all players and a learning environment for a lot of beginners.
