Dear ISF Parents and Guardians,
I hope this letter finds you all in good health and spirits in the final days of 2024.
The holiday break is fast upon us and it brings with it an opportunity for all of us in the ISF
community to enjoy a well-deserved break. Ahead of the break, I have been reflecting on our
accomplishments as a school community in 2024 and some of the exciting activities that have
brought us together.
We are enormously proud to celebrate that three of our Grade 12 students have attained Oxbridge Interviews for Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE) at Somerville College, Oxford and Engineering at Trinity College and Homerton College, Cambridge last week. They all took Admissions Exams in October and were invited to interview in early December. This is an enormously competitive and academically tough process and our students have excelled to earn an interview. We hope that they will furthermore be offered a place to read their chosen degrees in the UK and that this process of application and interview will be a unique learning moment for them in their academic process. Well Done Gents!

Our SLO® coordinator, Adrienne Hannon, delivered a heartfelt speech to all the guests, and our School Director, Mr. Cox, engaged warmly with attendees, sharing our commitment to educating the younger generation.
We extend our gratitude to AmCham Germany for organizing this gathering, which brings people together and reaffirms the connections that support a strong transatlantic partnership.

The Primary School students delighted the audience with their winter-themed performances, featuring songs and instrumental pieces. They played Boomwhackers and ukuleles, filling the stage with joyful sounds inspired by winter activities and the holiday season. Their energy and enthusiasm were contagious, making it a heartwarming event for all who attended.
Our Middle School students brought a mix of tradition and innovation to their performances. The choir and strings ensemble took the stage with a range of captivating pieces, showcasing their growth as musicians. Additionally, the Music Production class presented their creative work, matching music to various images—a unique and engaging experience for the audience.
These concerts were a true celebration of the hard work and passion our students pour into their music education. A big thank you to all the students, teachers, and families who supported these events. Your dedication makes moments like these possible.
On December 5th, our choir and string ensemble had the incredible honor of performing once again at the Tree Lighting Ceremony hosted by Frankfurt Airport Marriott Hotel.
The event featured 41 talented students from 13 different countries, each bringing their best to the stage. Their harmonious voices and beautiful string performances mesmerized the audience, filling the room with the spirit of the season.
We are incredibly proud of every one of these young musicians. The growth, confidence, and experience they gain from public performances like this are truly invaluable and contribute greatly to their development as artists and individuals.
A heartfelt thank you goes to the Frankfurt Airport Marriott for not only providing us with this wonderful opportunity but also for supporting our Kenya charity project, making the evening even more meaningful.
