ISC-Muscat opened its doors in 2001, bringing with it the SABIS® approach to education to Oman for the very first time. Last year, over 2,100 SABIS® students received 6,000 plus university offers from 45 countries, 55% of which were of the world’s top 200 universities. Despite the current pandemic and subsequent disruption, and regardless of their physical location, ISC-Muscat students are continuing their education without missing a beat. As a result of the highly developed E-learning solutions available at the school, a structured and systematic approach to education, and well-honed learning habits, SABIS® students have adapted rapidly to a changing world, and the learning has never stopped.

Engaging Sports, Activities, and Student Life
At ISC-Muscat, education extends beyond academics to encompass emotional and social intelligence as well. Extensive sports facilities give students the space they need to discover their athletic capabilities in football, basketball, swimming, track and field, and more. While the state-of-the-art school theater is also the perfect place to nurture students’ musical, theater, dance, and public speaking talent.
Students can also opt to be part of the SABIS® Student Life Organization (SLO), an integral part of their school life and a pillar of our educational system. The SLO offers countless opportunities for students to engage in meaningful, community-based projects that help them develop a strong sense of compassion and community conscientiousness. It also is the ideal environment for developing valuable 21st century skills that are critical to future success, such as collaboration, creativity, problem solving, independence, accountability, and leadership.
State-of-the-Art Campus
The purpose-built campus boasts state-of-the-art educational facilities. These include classroom buildings equipped with three computers labs, three science laboratories, an exam hall, a library, an art room, an indoor heated semi-Olympic-sized swimming pool, a gymnasium, ballet room, and a large multipurpose air-conditioned sports hall. The outside sports facilities include a grass football pitch and all-weather outdoor courts. The Lower School Department (Kindergarten to Grade 1) is a separate section with one classroom building, outdoor and indoor playground, an indoor heated swimming pool, sports hall and a car track for young students. The school also has a large auditorium and a large cafeteria.
